How to Log into Secfix with Office 365

Hey there! In this article, we will be going through the login process for Office 365. Even though it might be simple, there are some important steps that should be followed so that you won't have any issues with logging in to Secfix.


Requirements

  • A minimum Microsoft 365 Business Standard + Azure AD Premium P1 subscription

  • Global Administrator role in Microsoft Office 365

šŸ’”Note: Please be aware that the Global Administratior of Office 365 needs to log in first in order to make it possible for everyone else to log in.


How to log in

To log in to Secfix App using Office 365 please follow these steps:

1. Go to Secfix

2. Click on Continue with Office 365

3. You will then be redirected to Office 365 log in and this window will pop up.

Grant permissions by clicking on the box ā€œConsent on behalf of your organizationā€ and then accept. If you donā€™t click on the box, your employees will not able to login into Secfix.


4. Enter the verification code sent to your email

5. Next, youā€™ll be redirected to the Secfix App Home Page again.

Click on log in with Office365

6. A pop up window ā€œMore information requiredā€ will show up. Click on "Next".

7. Click on Skip setup

8. After signing in, you'll be successfully logged into the Secfix.


How to troubleshoot the Connection on Office 365

Sometimes if you havenā€™t clicked on Give Consent on behalf of organization when logging in the first time, your employees will not be able to sign in later. Here is how to remove an existing consent:

  1. Go to Azure as Global Admin - the only role that allows to connect APIs and disconnect them.

  2. Open Enterprise Applications

  3. Open Secfix O365 Integration, then Properties in the side navbar on the left side Click Delete and Yes

Afterwards we try to connect again with you as admin. Please follow this instructions when connecting Office 365.
