To ensure our system can correctly read and prioritize your security tasks in Jira, please follow the steps outlined below.

Secfix by default looks for the security label to pick up security issues

Once Secfix finds any tickets with the security label, it will check that each ticket has a priority set.

โš ๏ธ Note: We currently do not support Jira's default priority feature (Critical, High, Medium, Low). Instead, we require specific labels for task prioritization (p0, p1, p2, or p3).

Here are the two options how you can complete this task.

Option 1: Use our supported priority labels

  1. Navigate to the relevant project in your Jira account.

  2. Create or Edit a Task.

    • If creating a new task, click on the Create button.

    • If editing an existing task, select the task and click on Edit.

  3. In the priority field, enter one of the following values: p0, p1, p2, or p3.

    • p0 for highest priority

    • p1 for high priority

    • p2 for medium priority

    • p3 for low priority

  4. Click on Save.

By using these labels, our system will be able to read and prioritize your security tasks accurately.

Option 2: Use the default Jira priority labels

If your Jira projects already use the default priority labels (Critical, High, Medium, Low) and decide not to change them to our supported labels (p0, p1, p2, p3), contact our support team so we can mark this task as not applicable.

Our CS Team will note that you are using the default Jira labels and once we update our system to support these labels, we will enable the prioritization feature for you again.
